Thanks to the research carried out by the ESRU Foundation to address social problems in the most appropriate way, it was concluded that young people who drop out of school face difficulties in all areas of their lives—family, social, health, etc.—so a scholarship may not be enough for them to continue in school.

Therefore, the ESRU Adopta project was created in 2009, with the objective of supporting low-income students and their families. The project offers comprehensive assistance to all family members who require it, through financial support, tuition payments, training, psychological assistance, among others; thus, young people can fully focus on their studies.

The beneficiaries of this project are young men and women from across the country who are in vulnerable situations and want to acquire the necessary tools to improve their quality of life. To date, 17 families have received comprehensive support.
