San Ángel, an invitation to his rescue

In this book, the ESRU Foundation presents a proposal to rescue the San Ángel neighborhood from urban turmoil. This publication required the careful interdisciplinary work of architects, urban planners, historians, and surveyors. This book offers the history of the neighborhood, a current assessment, and future solutions.

Social mobility in Mexico: Are we moving?

Given the scarcity of information on social mobility in Mexico, the ESRU Foundation decided to conduct the 2006 ESRU Survey of Social Mobility in Mexico. The results and conclusions of this study are reflected in this publication, prepared by the Espinosa Yglesias Study Center, an association committed to studying Mexico's economic development.


ESRU Finance Manual

In collaboration with specialized teachers, a financial manual was developed for high school students. This manual helps them learn and apply basic financial knowledge necessary for effective planning of present and future activities. The manual contains exercises relevant to young people's lives, seeking to foster reflection and promote the care, organization, and better use of financial resources and material goods, all with a human development perspective.


16-year report

To celebrate the 16th anniversary of the ESRU Foundation, a compendium of the achievements since its inception was published. It also includes key events and testimonials from individuals who have benefited from the various projects. This publication also reviews the trajectories of the Foundation's sister associations: DEMAC, DMD, CEEY, Amparo Serrano Foundation, SERES, and AMMA Foundation.

ESRU Opines Anthology Award 2006-2015

This anthology brings together eight of the winning texts from the ESRU Opina Prize, as well as the young people's experiences on the trips they took to Spain, which they received as recognition for being the winners. The texts cover diverse topics, including autobiographical stories and social critiques. This anthology is a small testament to the talent, vivacity, and wealth of Mexican youth.

ESRU Opines Award: Winning Texts by Teachers 2016-2019

This book brings together 23 of the first-place winning texts from the ESRU Opina competition in the "Teachers" category. The competition first included teachers from the Colegio de Bachilleres in 2016, and interest and participation have grown since then. The texts are developed based on the topics chosen for each edition.

"Blue Photo: A Photo Studio in Puebla," a dialogue with the photographs of Rafael Fuentes Aguilar

Foto Azul, a photography studio in Puebla, showcases the extraordinary work of Puebla-born photographer Rafael Fuentes Aguilar (1889-1976). Puebla is one of the cities with the largest number of photographic archives in our country. However, until now, a local collection had not been studied from a perspective that encompassed both the artistic and social aspects.
